About Us

Bill and I live in upstate New York with our fur baby, Cooper. Monica's eldest daughter, Yvonne, lives nearby with her husband, Isaiah, and our beloved grandson Josiah (well, he is an angel!). Josiah was our first co-traveler. After touring and exploring Baby Girl for the first time, he exclaimed, “Nana, I’m so glad you got this RV!”

Bill's son Michael lives in Rochester too. Monica's youngest daughter Brittany, her husband, Corey, and their many fur babies live in Kentucky, near Lexington.

Bill and I are not retired yet, but we both run our own businesses. I own Monte Marketing Consulting and am a partner with True Insights Consulting (helping companies leverage the power of inclusive cultures and represent the communities they serve). Bill owns The Estate, Legacy, and Long-Term Care Planning Center of Western New York. That’s a mouthful, but there’s a lot involved with helping folks with their estate and long-term care planning.

I spent 22 years as a marketer in corporate America after earning an MBA from the University of Rochester Simon School of Business. I’ve served on several boards, notably over 20 years with Hillside Children’s Center.

​

Our six-year-old fur baby, Cooper, is a Malte-Tzu-Poo (Maltese, Shi-Tzu, Poodle). He lives for the hike! Whether it’s our sticks and bricks, tent, or RV, Cooper is at home! As long as the family pack is together, he’s loving life and living the dog dream! We’re never in doubt when he’s ready to hit the trails because he enthusiastically greets us with his harness nestled gingerly between his teeth, announcing, “I’m ready to go!”

We’re not thrill seekers; no cliff diving, bungy jumping, or climbing Mt. Everest for us. But we have a lot of fun minus the faintness of heart. A few things Monica enjoys are cooking, entertaining, hiking, camping, reading, and watching movies. Bill enjoys eating my great cooking, hosting dinner parties, hiking, camping, working out, and watching movies. We bet you can see why we get along. Relationship coaches would call that “experiential intimacy.”

 

Teamwork and moving together toward a common goal while creating an experience are at the heart of the MonteZoomas' RV lifestyle!
